The deal.

What you're agreeing to

By signing in and connecting a mailbox, you agree we can read and send mail on your behalf as described in the Privacy Policy. You're using Automail at your own discretion. The product is in active development; expect rough edges.

What you keep

Your mail is yours. Your drafts are yours. You can disconnect and delete at any time. We don't claim ownership over anything Automail generates on your behalf; you do.

What we keep

The right to improve the product. Operational metrics (counts of drafts, sends, errors) without your mail content. The audit log of actions taken on your account for at least 1 year — for your safety and ours.

Acceptable use

Reliability

Automail is best-effort. We try hard to keep it running and accurate, but the AI can be wrong. Always review drafts before they're sent. We don't guarantee delivery, classification accuracy, or any specific availability. If a critical email depended on Automail and didn't get drafted, sent, or surfaced — that's unfortunate, but it's not legal liability.

Liability

To the extent the law allows it, Automail is provided "as is" with no warranty. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the product. Direct liability, if any, is capped at $100 or what you've paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater.

Termination

You can stop using Automail and delete your account whenever you want. We can terminate access if you violate these terms — we'll give you a chance to fix it first when reasonable.

Changes

If we materially change these terms, we'll notify you and bump the effective date.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the operator resides. Disputes go through binding arbitration in that jurisdiction unless either party files in small-claims court.
